Job summary

Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas is seeking an Assistant Fitness Sales Manager to support the Senior Fitness Sales Manager in coaching trainers, growing the training department and upholding Gold’s Gym standards. You will lead by example on the gym floor, drive PT sales with integrity, and mentor staff to deliver measurable outcomes in performance and member satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a nationally recognized PT certification, CPR/AED, and at least two years of PT experience with one year in

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification preferred.
• CPR/AED Certification current.
• Minimum 2 years of personal training experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in fitness or sales.
• Proven record of leadership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Fitness Sales Manager in daily operations of the Personal Training department.
• Lead, mentor, and hold personal trainers accountable to standards and goals.
• Meet individual sales goals and contribute to department revenue and member conversions.
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and PT sales presentations.
• Follow up with clients to support enrollment, engagement and retention.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing personal trainers.
• Reinforce professionalism, accountability and continuous education.
• Track sales activity, trainer performance and client progress; communicate updates to the manager.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Fitness Sales Manager in the daily operations and performance of the Personal Training department
• Help lead, mentor, and hold personal trainers accountable to department standards and goals
• Meet individual sales goals and contribute to department revenue and member conversion targets
• Conduct fitness assessments, onboarding sessions, and personal training sales presentations
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients to supports enrollment, engagement, and retention
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing onboarding, and developing personal trainers
• Reinforce a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous education
• Assist with tracking sales activity, trainer performance, and client progress, communicating updates to the Senior Fitness Sales Manager
• Support trainer scheduling and coordination to maintain consistent member service
• Collaborate with leadership to execute events and department initiatives
• Maintain a strong presence on the gym floor to build member relationships and support the training team
• Provide department leadership in the Senior Fitness Sales Manager absence within assigned authority.
