Job summary

Hamilton County, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Field Operations Superintendent to oversee daily field operations in the Planning & Development Department in Cincinnati. The role supervises Equipment Operators and Mechanics, coordinates tasks, provides training, and reviews timesheets to ensure project quality while engaging with customers and external stakeholders.

Primary duties include coordinating equipment usage, monitoring progress, and maintaining inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years’ experience as Equipment Operator 3 and/or related field; at least 2 years supervising or leading.
• Valid CDL Driver’s License issued by the relevant state.
• Experience supervising field operations personnel and coordinating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of Field Operations personnel.
• Communicate with customers and investigate service issues.
• Liaison between department and contractors.
• Operate or supervise use of field equipment and tools.
• Determine equipment and material needs and maintain inventories.
