Job summary

Mayvin, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support our security program and ensure compliance with DCSA requirements. The AFSO will assist in managing personnel security clearances, security training, and classified information handling while ensuring adherence to NISP guidelines.

This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and government agencies. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and related security regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and discretion.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FSO with the overall security program.
• Maintain combination records and respond to alarms as necessary.
• Assist with security clearance processing and lifecycle management in DISS/NBIS; provide briefings and training.
• Prepare and review DD254s.
• Support access control systems, badge issuance, and security logging.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of cleared personnel and related documentation.
• Oversee personnel security clearances (PCLs) and SF-86 reviews for completeness.
• Process VARs in DISS.
• Assist with CAC applications and SCI nominations.
• Assist with CUI handling, marking, storage, transmission and reporting.
• Provide guidance on security questions, aligning with regulations and policies.
