Job summary

Mayvin, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to strengthen our security program and ensure compliance with DCSA requirements. The AFSO will assist in managing personnel security clearances, security training, and handling classified information, while maintaining strict adherence to NISP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance w/ SCI eligibility.
• Strong organizational and confidentiality skills are required.
• Experience handling classified information and government regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FSO with the security program and compliance activities.
• Maintain records and respond to alarms as necessary.
• Process security clearances in DISS/NBIS and provide briefings/trainings.
• Prepare and review DD254s and manage access control, badges, and logs.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and transfers of cleared personnel.
• Review SF-86s for completeness and initiate investigations when needed.
• Process VARs in DISS and support CAC applications and SCI nominations.
• Support CUI marking, handling, storage, and reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance on security topics aligning with regulations and policies.
