Job summary

Impec Group is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager in North San Jose, CA. The role supports daily facility operations, maintenance, vendor coordination, budgeting, and workplace services, partnering with the Facilities Director to keep a safe, efficient workspace.

The position requires 3–5 years of facilities management experience, strong organization and communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. CAD knowledge is a plus, with full-time, on-site duties in a dynamic organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility operations, vendors, budgets, and workplace services.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections.

The Assistant Facilities Manager will support daily facility operations, maintenance, vendor coordination, budgeting, and workplace services. This role works closely with the Facilities Director to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.

Position: Assistant Facilities Manager

Pay Rate: $50/hr- $55/hr.

Location: North San Jose, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Assist with facility budgets, contracts, expenses, and improvement projects.
• Support workplace safety and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate space planning, office moves, and workplace changes.
• Maintain facility records, inventory, and vendor documentation.
• Respond to urgent facility issues, including occasional after-hours needs.
• Partner with internal teams to provide excellent workplace support.

• 3–5 years of facilities management expereince or similar role.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
