Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a full-time Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead dining, bar, and events. You’ll supervise service on the floor, coach staff, and partner with the culinary team to deliver warm, polished experiences for members and guests.

The role emphasizes scheduling, inventory, cost control, and training, with opportunities to contribute to private events and banquets.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of food and beverage supervisory experience in private clubs, luxury hotels, or upscale restaurants.
• Food Manager certification (e.g., ServSafe) and responsible alcohol service certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining room, bar, and outlet operations to ensure exceptional service.
• Build relationships with members and anticipate their needs.
• Support banquets and events from planning through execution.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and coach front-of-house staff.
• Coordinate with culinary team to ensure kitchen-floor communication.
• Manage scheduling, inventory counts, and cost control.
