Recess Hotel & Club Savannah is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our leadership team, focusing on Le Flâneur, the signature French brasserie. This role offers hands-on daily operation support and a path to grow with a boutique luxury brand in a historic building.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a hospitality setting.
• Strong guest service instincts and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Experience supervising daily service in a full-service operation.
• Ability to coach and motivate front-of-house staff.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Le Flâneur daily operations and lead across shifts.
• Lead on-floor presence; engage guests and support the team.
• Coach and develop front-of-house staff while upholding service standards.
• Assist with opening/closing, scheduling, and floor assignments.
• Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams for seamless service.
• Address guest concerns promptly with hospitality and care.
• Assist with staff onboarding and training.
• Support inventory, labor management, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restaurant readiness.
• Support events and other F&B outlets as needed.
• Grow knowledge of restaurant operations and financials.
