Job summary

Cedar Point Sports Center is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all food, beverage, and service operations for the center and its events. You will lead F&B staff, manage inventory, and ensure top-tier guest experiences.

Ideal candidate brings 2–4 years of F&B/culinary management, ServSafe certification, and strong leadership skills. Hybrid approach not offered; position is on-site in Sandusky, OH.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2-4 years of culinary experience.
• 2-4 years of food & beverage management experience.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Food Safety Manager Certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Able to work irregular shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for concessions and events.
• Hire, train, mentor, and supervise Food & Beverage team members.
• Open, operate, and close concession locations across the center.
• Monitor labor and food costs; assist with financial reporting.
• Support inventory reporting and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with inspections.
• Coordinate catering for special events with vendors and managers.
• Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
