Job summary

Home2 Suites by Hilton Alcoa Knoxville Airport is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper who leads the housekeeping team, assigns rooms, manages deep cleaning and coordinates supplies to keep rooms ready for guests. This role demands integrity, excellent guest service, and a collaborative spirit in a busy hotel environment.

You will train new staff, monitor time punches, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service with honesty and a positive attitude.
• Ability to seek out work and take initiative.
• Strong planning and organizing skills.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must authorize a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign rooms for Housekeepers and allocate extra help for deep cleaning.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to stock supplies.
• Ensure all cleaned rooms are updated in the system.
• Maintain and log lost and found items.
• Ensure storage areas are locked and secure.
• Oversee time clock punches for Housekeeping staff.
• Manage linen stock for night team.
• Assist in training new Housekeepers.
• Assist in terminations for underperformance.
• Ensure rooms meet standards and policies.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or escalate to GM.
