Claiborne Senior Living in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an experienced Assistant Executive Director to lead the operations of its Assisted Living and Memory Care areas on campus. This is a leadership role focused on culture, performance, and resident well‑being.

You will partner with the Executive Director, coach department leaders, and drive a high‑quality resident experience while ensuring compliant, efficient operations. The role requires adaptability and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and a valid licensed administrator credential required.
• 2+ years of long‑term care experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in a healthcare setting with strong decision-making and budgeting skills.
• Collaborative leader able to communicate clearly and build trust with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and support the Executive Director; lead the community when needed.
• Coach department leaders and staff to foster a positive work environment.
• Partner with Wellness, Life Enrichment, Dining, Sales, and other teams to ensure a consistent resident experience.
• Greet prospective residents and families, conduct tours, and manage the New Resident Welcome Program.
• Ensure safety, compliance, training, documentation, and service standards across the campus.
