Claiborne Senior Living seeks an experienced Assistant Executive Director to lead the operations of Assisted Living and Memory Care on our Baton Rouge campus. This is a leadership role focused on culture, performance, and resident experience.

You’ll partner with the Executive Director and department leaders to drive excellence, coach teams, and ensure a welcoming, compliant community where residents thrive and staff grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
• At least two years of long-term care experience.
• Licensed administrator with leadership experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and lead the community when needed.
• Coach department leaders, address challenges and foster a positive environment.
• Collaborate with Wellness, Life Enrichment, Dining, Sales and other teams for a consistent resident experience.
• Welcome prospective residents and families through tours and move-in prep.
• Maintain a safe, compliant community with trained staff and documented standards.

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Executive Director to lead and oversee the operations of our Assisted Living and Memory Care areas on our Senior Living Campus in Baton Rouge, LA.

What you’ll do

• Support the Executive Director in overseeing daily operations and step in to lead the community when needed.
• Coach department leaders and team members, address challenges, and help create a positive work environment.
• Partner with Wellness, Life Enrichment, Dining, Sales, and other teams to deliver a consistent resident experience.
• Welcome prospective residents and families through tours, move-in preparation, and the New Resident Welcome Program.
• Help maintain a safe, compliant community by monitoring training, inspections, documentation, and service standards.

What we’re looking for

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, plus at least two years of long-term care experience.
• A licensed administrator with proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Sound judgment and confidence making operational, financial, and budgeting decisions.
• A collaborative leader who can resolve problems, communicate clearly, and build trust with residents, families, and staff.
• Flexibility to participate in the Manager on Duty rotation and be present on evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
