We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this integral role, you will support the planning, organization, and execution of various events, ensuring that they run smoothly and meet the expectations of our clients. You will work closely with the Event Coordinator and other team members to assist in every stage of event planning, from initial conception to final execution.

Job: Full time

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range

$25.50 - $34.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, and transportation arrangements.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure all materials and services are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Maintain event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Create and distribute event materials, such as invitations, programs, and promotional content.
  • Support the Event Coordinator during events by managing registration, guest services, and on-site logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus, though not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
