Job summary

Walsh Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Estimator for their Seattle, Washington office. In this role, you will assist in preparing pre-project plans and executing estimates. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction or a related field, along with strong organizational and computer skills. The salary range is $75,000 to $95,000 annually and includes benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan with employer match.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with Owners, Architects, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Field experience or experience estimating self-performed work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up bid systems for new and returning projects.
• Performing quantity take-offs, pricing, and bidding of construction projects.
• Participating in developing accurate and complete contract estimates.

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Education
