Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking interns for the Seattle region to gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management. The program offers opportunities to travel nationwide and work on-site or in the office with pursuits in estimating and preconstruction.

Interns will be trained to become full-time employees after college, with a 12-week schedule preferred and relocation possible for certain roles.

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bids and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Oversee safety management.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Write RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred
