Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager - Data Center (Meitner/Pampa, TX) to support our growing Data Center group. This role partners with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance.

Location: Pampa, TX. The position involves equipment planning, inventory management, and collaboration with internal and external teams, plus travel up to 25% to ensure project success and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Budget planning and financial oversight experience preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize owned equipment, storage, and tooling.
• Plan and schedule equipment with project teams, equipment solutions teams, and vendors.
• Oversee large inventory, budgeting, and logistics.
• Support 25% travel and vendor relations.
• Lead process improvements using 5S in warehouse/equipment yard.

SUMMARY

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager - Data Center (Meitner/Pampa, TX) to support our growing Data Center group. This role partners with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance.

Location: Pampa, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and organizing owned equipment, storage, and tooling
• Equipment planning and scheduling with internal project teams, equipment solutions teams, and 3rd party vendors
• Large inventory management
• Financial forecasting and budgeting
• Rental software contract management
• Equipment logistics planning
• Vendor relations
• Understanding of construction equipment maintenance, opportunities,constraintsand requirements
• Establish improved efficiencies and process improvement plans for warehouse and equipment yard using 5S strategies
• Lead department initiatives to include development,trainingand support
• Manage a team of craft and non-craft team members
• Support innovation by encouraging new process development
• Interior and exterior responsibilitiesrequired
• Travel expectation 25%

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years ofexperience in construction, equipmentrental,and/or project management experienceor 8+ years of equivalent professional trade experience
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on workload
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to travel 25%
• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight(preferred). Demonstrated knowledge ofconstruction equipment and materials(preferred)

The base pay range for this role is $100,100 - $150,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
