Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC seeks an Assistant Project Manager to deliver environmental projects and grow in project management, technical leadership, and client engagement. You will work with senior managers to plan, execute, and close projects, mentor junior staff, and develop technical reports and proposals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
• HAZWOPER certification.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to mentor and train staff.
• Proficiency with MS 365.
• Excellent technical writing and technical oversight skills.
• Career safety record and understanding of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Support management of environmental projects.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals and support field investigations.
• Manage project budgets under senior oversight.
