Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Assistant Safety & Training Manager to oversee driver safety, training, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team of trainers, coordinate DOT and company policies, and ensure safe operations across locations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in safety/operations, strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, and proven experience designing and delivering training materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in passenger transportation or safety leadership.
• Experience in safety, operations, training, or related leadership role.
• Experience training paratransit drivers and developing training materials preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administers driver hiring, training and compliance processes.
• Provides direction to location trainers and inputs into training content.
• Investigates incidents and manages accident documentation and follow-up.
• Plans monthly safety meetings and supports safety teams.
• Delivers post-accident counseling and retraining as needed.
• Supports driver road checks and safety reports.
