Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an Assistant District Service Manager to ensure on-site technical service excellence in the district. You will coordinate resources, support on-site and field service for installation, testing, operation and maintenance of turbine and generator equipment, and maintain strong customer relationships in a regulated sector.

This role reports to the District Service Manager and leads a team of 5–15 engineers and support staff, driving best-in-class service and effective

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of experience in generation service.
• Experience with maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and related equipment.
• Experience working with union and non-union labor.
• Experience with Primavera and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software, SAP, and Excel; ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site technical and operational services for turbine and generator equipment within the district.
• Lead the platform team (LTP, Sales, Warranty, parts) to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Plan and estimate complex proposals; review task plans and installation schematics; guide task duration.
• Coordinate district engineers and support staff (5–15 people) and manage resource allocation.
• Develop employee training plans and collaborate with other departments to improve Siemens Energy products and services.
• Communicate key technical and commercial issues to District Management.
