Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead the field service organization supporting its fleet of gas turbine generator packages and equipment.

The role emphasizes safe, reliable, and profitable field service execution, including commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and customer training. It also focuses on leveraging automation, remote diagnostics, and data analytics to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in progressive field service leadership for complex industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day field service operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and profitable delivery of aftermarket services.
• Deploy field personnel, equipment, tooling, and resources to meet customer commitments and objectives.
• Own the operational and financial performance of the service organization, including safety, customer satisfaction, equipment reliability, service quality, revenue, cost, and profitability.
• Manage service revenue, operating expenses, labor utilization, workforce capacity, and resource allocation.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable Field Service Supervisors and Field Service Technicians.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing technical talent through structured performance management and training.
• Serve as the primary operational and technical point of contact for field service execution, customer communication, escalation management, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Project Management to support equipment commissioning, service delivery, and customer requirements.
