Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Nuclear Operations Project Manager to lead high-profile outages at customer sites, ensuring maintenance and component modifications meet contractual requirements and exceed expectations. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with SEI and customer teams.

Ideal candidates bring extensive turbine/generator outage and nuclear plant experience, plus proven leadership of people and vendors, and the ability to obtain unescorted access.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of turbine generator and/or field service experience.
• Experience in outages and generator maintenance in nuclear plants.
• Proven ability to lead teams and vendors.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access in a nuclear power plant.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and quality during outage preparation and execution.
• Manage staffing for well-orchestrated turbine generator outages.
• Support outage planning for Siemens Energy and customers.
• Provide technical oversight and lead discussions with SEI and customer personnel.
• Oversee vendors throughout planning and execution.
• Develop and manage schedules in Primavera P6 with customer updates.

Want to help the energy transformation in the US? Join SEI as a Nuclear Operations Project Manager where you will manage high profile projects at customer sites for equipment maintenance and component modifications. In this role you will to help ensure that our products and services conform to contractual requirements and exceed customer expectations!

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Champion safety and quality in the preparation and execution phases of the outage
• Manage staffing to perform well orchestrated turbine generator outages
• Handle and support outage planning efforts for Siemens Energy and customers
• Provide technical oversight and lead both SEI and customer personnel in technical discussions
• Lead and provide oversight of vendors throughout the planning and execution process
• Develop and manage schedules in Primavera P6, including schedule report outs to customers

What You Bring

• 10+ years of Turbine Generator and or field service experience
• Knowledge of turbine/generator maintenance and outage execution
• Experience working in commercial nuclear power plants
• Experience in leading people and vendors
• Confirmed understanding of lifting and rigging
• Open to travel 75% of the year planning and completing outages
• Ability to gain unescorted access in a nuclear power plant (FFD, psychological background, criminal history, etc)
