Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and six (6) years of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration and oversight of highway construction contracts, including construction layout, material sampling and testing, record maintenance, and preparation of final construction documentation.
• Coordinate construction activities with Resident Construction Engineers, consultants, contractors, Headquarters, and District personnel.
• Supervise staff by preparing performance planning and evaluation documents; coach, counsel, and train employees; establish and monitor work processes; hire personnel; and promote teamwork.
• Develop scopes of work for consultant CE&I contracts; serve on selection committees; assist in developing work orders for CE&I contracts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
