DISTRICT 23 is seeking one Assistant District Attorney for the prosecution of juvenile cases, to include but not limited to Juvenile Deprived, Juvenile Delinquent, and Youthful Offender, for the Pottawatomie and Lincoln County Offices of the District Attorney.
The Assistant District Attorney – Juvenile (Juvenile ADA) is an Assistant District Attorney under the general supervision of the District Attorney for the 23rd Judicial District of Oklahoma. The Juvenile ADA represents the State of Oklahoma under the elected District Attorney in the various juvenile courts in Pottawatomie County and Lincoln County.
The Juvenile ADA is an employee of the State of Oklahoma and serves at the pleasure of the District Attorney; to protect the public through proactively advocating as ministers of justice for public safety and welfare.

This position will be responsible for all juvenile cases in Lincoln and Pottawatomie County, therefore there will be weekly required travel to the Pottawatomie District Courthouse in Shawnee, OK and the Lincoln County District Courthouse in Chandler, OK. Occasional other local travel to various sites, including courthouses and offsite agencies.
