Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services in Transplant to coordinate transplant pharmacy activities, ensure quality, and support a system-wide transplant program across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will lead informatics projects (Epic order verification), oversee staff development, residency program direction for PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize medication safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• PharmD from ACPE-accredited school.
• New York State Pharmacist licensure.
• PGY1 residency training.
• PGY2 residency training or equivalent salaried professorship at a school of pharmacy.
• Board certification in Pharmacotherapy within 18 months of hire.
• Self-motivation, good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 3 years in progressive pharmaceutical management position.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transplant pharmacy activities across NYU Langone Health.
• Oversee system transplant services with quality assurance.
• Lead pharmacy informatics and Epic-related projects to improve medication safety and efficiency.
• Manage transplant-focused clinical pharmacy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings; coordinate with transplant clinicians, nursing, and ancillary services.
• Recruitment, hiring, performance management, and staff development for transplant pharmacy personnel across the NYU Langone Health System.
• Serve as Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency Program; ensure accreditation compliance and foster scholarly activity.
