Job summary

The role includes directing the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency, implementing clinical practice guidelines, and driving pharmacy informatics initiatives in Epic to improve safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school.
• New York State Pharmacist licensure.
• PGY1 pharmacy residency training.
• PGY2 pharmacy residency training or equivalent salaried professorship at a school of pharmacy.
• Board certification in Pharmacotherapy or other specialty within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum 3 years in progressive pharmaceutical management position.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transplant pharmacy activities and ensure quality across NYU Langone Health.
• Lead informatics and Epic projects to improve safety and efficiency.
• Oversee transplant-focused services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Recruit, hire, and develop transplant pharmacy staff.
• Represent pharmacy leadership on hospital and system committees.
