The Memphis Jewish Community Center (MJCC) is seeking an Assistant Director of Camp, Youth and Family Services to help plan and implement programs across Day Camp, J Club After School, Family Programming and Camp 365. You will work closely with the Youth, Camp and Family Services Director to develop goals and ensure high-quality experiences for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in youth/summer camp programming.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Jewish culture and traditions.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent verbal, written and technological skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance administrative tasks with direct services.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing and implementing short and long-term program goals for Camp, J Club, Family Programming and Camp 365.
• Recruit, interview and hire summer camp staff and J Club staff; supervise specialists.
• Plan and execute staff trainings and daily/weekly staffing assignments.
• Assist with budgeting for supplies and vendors and manage transportation and coordination with schools.
• Coordinate and communicate day-to-day programming for J Club and Camp activities.
• Contribute to creating engaging, age-appropriate programming and field trips.
