The University of Texas at Austin seeks an Assistant Director of Student Organizations (Events) to lead strategic development for student organizations, oversee space reservations, and coordinate signature programs. • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience developing, administering, and implementing programs for college students.
• Experience advising student groups or working in student personnel or student services.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including presentations, written correspondence, and reports.
• Attention to detail.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsabilidades

• Student Organization Development and Strategy: Implement priorities for student organization development by managing and producing signature programs.
• Staff Supervision and Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate professional, paraprofessional, and student staff, including direct oversight of full time staff.
• Event Management & Space Reservation Oversight: Oversee student organization indoor and outdoor space reservation and event consultation process.
• Campus Partnerships and Sponsored Student Organization Support: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleges, departments, and faculty to support sponsored student organizations.
• Technology Systems Oversight and Training: Manage the suite of technologies used by the office, including Engage, Campus Groups, Mazevo Room Scheduling, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Office.
