Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Accounts to support accurate and compliant handling of student financial transactions. You will supervise invoicing, refunds, and reconciliation for Veteran and Military Benefits funding and Skills Training Workforce Ready Grant funding, while ensuring timely service to students and campus partners.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two years of similar experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial systems is expected.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, payment processing, refunds, and reconciliation for Veteran benefits and Skills Training Workforce Ready Grant funding.
• Process student refunds and ensure timely posting per institutional policies.
• Reconcile payments for bank deposits.
• Create invoices and process payments for non-student receivables.
• Record, monitor, and respond to credit card chargeback disputes.
• Address ServiceNow tickets related to Student Accounts Receivable.
• Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including responding to student account inquiries.
• Prepare and disseminate student account reports to internal stakeholders and campus partners.
• Ensure student accounts are managed in compliance with policies, regulations, and audit guidelines.
• Maintain current documentation of student account policies and procedures.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
