Colonial Group seeks an Assistant Director, Programs, Safe Options Support (SOS) in New York to supervise the SOS team and oversee outreach and housing placement activities. The role collaborates with city agencies and community stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.

Leading with Harm Reduction, Housing First, CTI, and Motivational Interviewing, you provide supervision, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care while ensuring timely documentation and compliance with oversight

Qualifications

• NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Housing First, Harm Reduction, CTI, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Ability to manage crisis intervention, risk assessments, and incident management.
• Strong collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with databases helpful.
• Driver’s license (NY, NJ, CT, or PA) preferred; bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily SOS program components, outreach, and housing placement activities.
• Supervise Clinical Coordinators and Community Health Specialist; conduct regular supervision.
• Coordinate with city agencies, hospital personnel, and community partners.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and incident management.
• Ensure timely documentation and compliance with oversight entities.
• Support front-line staff in de-escalation and client-centered care.
• Guide program operations according to Housing First and CTI models.
