Job summary

ACMH is seeking a Team Leader for Safe Options Support to oversee all operations of the program based in Midtown Manhattan, with potential travel throughout NYC. The role reports to the Senior Director for SOS and runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, ensuring 24/7 crisis coverage via coordination with the SOS Hub.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Public Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Public Policy or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years post-master’s experience in behavioral health and criminal justice settings.
• Previous management and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the SOS program in accordance with standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team through supervision and training.
• Lead program outreach at transit hubs, hospitals, and shelters with transition planning.
• Develop partnerships with MTA, hospitals, NYPD, and housing providers.
• Conduct internal audits and report gaps to the SOS Hub QPM Department.
• Direct 24/7 crisis response via on-call coordination with the SOS Hub.
