The Social Media Marketing Strategy Assistant Director is responsible for curating, planning, and posting engaging content across various social media platforms. This role works closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop cohesive strategies that align with brand identity and reach target audiences effectively. The role collaborates with the creative team to design visually appealing and brand-consistent posts, while also planning and writing captions for daily and weekly social media content, including stories. Staying informed on the latest social media trends and best practices is essential to maintaining an innovative and impactful digital presence. The role involves regularly reviewing performance metrics to optimize content strategy and leveraging paid media tools, such as Meta, to drive engagement and revenue. Additionally, the Assistant Director manages budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure the success of paid media campaigns. This position also supports internal brand storytelling initiatives, assists with day-to-day data reporting, and contributes to campaign strategy. A key part of the role is tracking and communicating campaign success on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The Assistant Director will also work with the team to implement scalable, repeatable, and measurable social media methods, ensuring consistent improvement through performance tracking.

The minimum salary is $67,412, depending on qualifications and experience.

This is a 100% Academic Staff appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
