Job summary

Tri-Counties Regional Center seeks an Assistant Director, Services & Supports in Ventura County. You will direct the Services & Supports Department, supervise Managers, and collaborate on person-centered planning initiatives and mandated requirements.

You may oversee policy exceptions, appeals, mediations, or fair hearings and represent the TCADD to diverse stakeholders and public agencies. This role requires strong leadership and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Strongly prefer a Master’s degree in social work or related field and license or license eligibility (LCSW, MFT).
• A Bachelor’s degree and five years of directly related experience may be substituted for the Master’s degree.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle or equivalent means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Directs in a person centered way the work of the Services & Supports Department in Ventura County.
• Supervises Services & Supports Managers and coordinates planning initiatives.
• Represents the organization to the community, partner organizations, individuals, families, and public agencies.
• Ensures policy adherence, oversees appeals and hearings, and manages reporting and budgeting.
