Job summary

Opportunity Home is seeking an Assistant Director to lead public housing management programs, including property and asset management, and Capital Fund oversight. You will guide staff, monitor occupancy, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple properties while building relationships with stakeholders.

The role requires extensive experience in multi-family housing, strong leadership, and the ability to drive performance and service excellence in line with the agency's mission.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in multi‑family development and property management.
• Four (4) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience using cloud applications and Google GSuite/Microsoft 365.
• Successful completion of background checks and verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensures staff meets monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for occupancy, rent collection, and satisfaction.
• Oversees budget overview, maintenance and Capital Fund management for properties.
• Develops programs with external partners to improve residents' quality of life.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual housing management reports.
• Trains, mentors staff, and enforces department policies and procedures.
• Communicates with residents and government agencies about housing policies.
