Job summary

Case Western Reserve University is seeking an Assistant Director to plan, develop, and implement the Provost Scholars Program in partnership with East Cleveland and Cleveland Metropolitan School Districts. The role focuses on program activities, family support, and operations.

The assistant directs portfolios, coordinates mentoring and tutoring, fosters relationships with schools, recruits mentors, and assists in budget and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in academic and community settings with minority students.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• Experience with school administrators, teachers, parents, stakeholders, and university staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement mentoring, tutoring, and seminars for Provost Scholars.
• Develop partnerships with schools and stakeholders including parents and teachers.
• Coordinate data collection, portfolios, and program reporting; contribute to grants.
• Recruit, train, and retain mentors and tutors; plan staff training.
• Plan and conduct orientation activities and parent/teacher events.
