Job summary

Boston College’s Lynch Leadership Academy seeks an Assistant Director of Program and Operations to provide programmatic leadership and oversee the implementation of key activities, including recruitment, communications, and fellowship programming.

The role partners with university offices to support financial operations, MOUs, event logistics, and external partnerships, ensuring processes are equitable, efficient, and aligned with the academy's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in program management and operations, education and/or non-profit experience preferred
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and tech-savvy
• Previous experience supporting financial management preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the outreach, application, interview and selection processes for interested program participants.
• Examine program processes and protocolS for inequities and propose and implement solutions
• Lead all logistics, so every professional development effort - days, retreats, institutes, school visits - run without a hitch.
• Contribute to proposal and program design for our Fellowship and consulting partnerships
• Contribute to our regional and national expansion efforts; help to identify, evolve and launch pilot initiatives.
• Responsible for all LLA social media, increasing our followers and aligning our social media with our values, strategy and programs
• Develop policies and establish procedures to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support the Director of Finance and Operations in the financial operations of LLA, including paperwork for facilitators, MOUs and invoices, purchasing, reimbursements, and reconciling spending.
