NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JUVENILE & FAMILY COURT JUDGES seeks an Assistant Director to help lead the department, supervise staff, manage multiple projects and budgets, and advance practice through curricula and policy development.

Position involves national-level representation, training, and grant proposal development, with a focus on advancing juvenile justice and family law initiatives. Some travel and leadership duties required.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university (advanced degree preferred).
  • Four years progressively responsible professional or leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Passion or preference for nonprofit or grant-funded environments.

Responsibilities

  • Delegate work assignments, allocate resources, and provide leadership to ensure priorities are met.
  • Manage day-to-day operation of the program with emphasis on smooth functioning.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of project materials.
  • Track and monitor grant requirements and budgets.
  • Direct supervision of multiple projects, personnel, and budgets.
  • Develop and implement new grant and entrepreneurial programs.
  • Develop judicial education curricula and mentor staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
