Assistant Director of Prevention Education

Using advanced and specialized expertise, the Assistant Director of Prevention Education designs and implements a wide variety of health promotion and education programs for the campus, and in conjunction with community outreach programs. The role works on problems of diverse scope, requiring analysis of data and situations to evaluate identifiable factors. The incumbent demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.

Duties also include acting in the capacity of a California Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Counselor for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking by providing brief crisis assessment and intake support to community members. The position may provide backup or fill‑in support for the survivor support team when needed.

Compensation: The full salary range for this position is $73,600.00 – $133,200.00 annually. The expected pay scale is up to $95,000 annually. Salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Eligibility: Applicants must have current work authorization at the time of accepting a UCR staff position. The University cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
