Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to ensure the school operates safely and effectively under the supervision of the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school and promotes a nurturing, educational environment for children and families.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff recruitment, and adherence to licensing standards, while supporting profitability and community trust through high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare facility.
• BA degree in Early Childhood/Child Care and licensing education requirements.
• State licensing standards must be met and the candidate must meet center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff; promote a positive image of the company.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Required BA degree and Early Childhood/Child Care Experience.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $22.78/starting hourly based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
