Job summary

Larkin University’s College of Pharmacy seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Practice Programs and Assistant/Associate Professor. The role partners with the Assistant Dean for Practice and Professional Affairs to advance experiential education and professional affairs within a dynamic academic environment.

Responsibilities include sustaining didactic teaching, developing clinical practice sites, and mentoring preceptors.

Qualifications

• PharmD with residency and/or fellowship training.
• Licensed or eligible for Florida licensure.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain didactic teaching and clinical practice activities as a faculty member.
• Develop an active clinical practice site to support experiential education.
• Advise LU student chapters of professional organizations.
• Recruit and train preceptors across diverse practice settings.
• Lead preceptor development initiatives and CPD programs.
• Oversee IPPE and APPE programs in collaboration with the Office of Professional Affairs.
• Collaborate to update experiential policies, manuals, and syllabi.
• Perform duties as requested by college leadership.
