Job summary

Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is seeking a trusted Associate Contract Specialist for the Division of Financial Services in New York City. The role focuses on PASSPort management, procurement oversight, and budget accountability in a high-stakes public sector environment.

The position requires a combination of education and extensive experience in contract/financial management, with strong analytical and cross-functional coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 2+ years in contract/financial management or project management.
• Alternative: 4-year high school diploma plus 6+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience acceptable as described.

Responsibilities

• Generate and perform PASSPort tasks for oversight reviews and approvals.
• Maintain procurement status reports and issue procurements.
• Liaise on Budget queue actions and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review PASSPort progress reports and coordinate with Budget liaison.
• Track budget modifications, expenditures, and increases (COLA, Fringe, ICR).
• Support provider agency closeouts with PASSPort accuracy.
• Assist in procurement analyses to meet M/WBE goals.
