Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Reading, MA is seeking an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (PTA or OTA) to support the in-house therapy program at our skilled nursing facility.

You will assist the Director of Rehabilitation with operations, regulatory compliance, staff training, and ensuring therapy services meet established standards.

Candidates must hold an active MA license in PT, OT, or SLP, demonstrate leadership and communication skills, and have PDPM/MDS experience.

Qualifications

• Active license in MA as PT/PTA, OT/OTA, or SLP.
• PDPM and MDS knowledge or experience preferred.
• Continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the DOR with oversight and management of the therapy program.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop facility-specific procedures with the interdisciplinary team.
• Train therapy staff on established procedures.
• Ensure therapy services meet established productivity and documentation standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients and families; attend to requests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
