Evolve Therapy Services is seeking an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in North Platte, NE. You will assist the Director of Rehabilitation with therapy operations and ensure services align with company procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a Degree in PT/OT/SLP, active licensure, and strong leadership and communication skills; PDPM/MDS experience is preferred for optimal success.

Formación

• Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Must hold active licensure in relevant state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the DOR with oversight and management of the therapy program.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, policies and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to establish procedures and train staff.
• Ensure therapy services meet regulatory standards and productivity targets.
• Oversee documentation and billing for therapy services.
• Communicate professionally with patients and family members.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization.

Job Position: Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (PT PTA OT OTA SLP) for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Summary: Is responsible for assisting the Director of Rehabilitation with therapy operations at the facility in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices of the company under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation:

• You will help provide the best possible therapy services to patients consistent with established standards of practice and company and department procedures, including:
• Responsible for assisting the DOR with oversight and management of all aspects of the therapy program in assigned facility/ facilities.
• Responsible for knowledge of, and adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, processes and guidelines, job description, certification requirements, HIPAA, confidentiality standards and resident rights.
• Responsible for assisting the DOR with establishing facility-specific procedures in collaboration with the facility interdisciplinary team, and for training all therapy staff on established procedures.
• Ensure all therapists provide therapy services in accordance with regulatory requirements, established standards of practice, Company policies and procedures, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• Ensure all therapists adhere to regulatory requirements and Company procedures regarding documentation and billing of therapy services.
• Communicate and interact professionally and respectfully with patients and family members in attending to and meeting their requests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the position and are in the best interests of the organization.

Education & Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology
• Must have active (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP) in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
• Experience with PDPM and MDS management preferred
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal leadership and communication skills
• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
