Job summary

Fairlawn seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in guiding nursing services, ensuring quality resident care and compliance. The role focuses on clinical standards, staff development, and efficient operations while supervising referrals, wounds and infection control.

The ADON promotes teamwork, accountability, professionalism and resident-centered care, aligning with our mission and values and serving as a visible nursing leader for staff and residents

Qualifications

• RN licensure and/or BSN preferred for leadership role.
• 5–7 years in supervision and LTC facility experience.
• Infection Preventionist certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient with PCC, Word, Excel, Outlook and related tools.

• Support the Director of Nursing with leadership and oversight of nursing services.

Assistant Director of Nursing, RNFull-time / Salary1st ShiftIncludes On Call and Standby rotation / Occasional evenings/weekendsAssistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in providing leadership, direction, and oversight of nursing services. The ADON will assist in ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, clinical standards, staff development, and effective nursing operations; overseeing referrals, wounds, and Infection Control.
