Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in managing the SNF Nursing Service Department, ensuring compliance and high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active RN license (or LPN where allowed) and at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Strong leadership and EHR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or be licensed as an LPN if allowed.
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare setting, preferably LTC.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR and other software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service operations.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitary, infection control policies and facility standards.

Position Summary

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work or licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
