Job summary

Autumn Care of Nash in Nashville, NC seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing service department. You will help ensure high-quality resident care, compliance with federal/state guidelines, and staff development in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, two years of supervisory healthcare experience, and comfort with electronic health records and basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where you work.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare setting, preferably long term care.
• Must possess basic computer skills and be able to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day-to-day SNF Nursing Service Department functions.
• Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure quality of care and compliance with standards.
