Job summary

PrimeCare Medical is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations in Towson, MD. RN license is required and strong leadership is essential to supervise staff, ensure PCM and NCCHC/ACA standards are met, and coordinate high-quality care.

You will report to HSA and DON, develop schedules, and audit records while maintaining professional practice and collaborative relationships with facility staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; substitution possible.
• Licensed to practice in the state where the facility is located.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrate decision-making ability and effective communication.
• Leadership and management capability required.
• Ability to function independently and provide clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Report to HSA and DON on a regular basis and prepare reports.
• Manage and evaluate nursing care delivery per PCM policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional nursing attitude and working relationships with staff and administration.
• Orient, supervise and evaluate nursing personnel; develop and monitor schedules.
• Ensure compliance with PCM and NCCHC/ACA standards; monitor patient safety.
• Audit medical records and participate in QA activities.
• Coordinate in-service programs and health care staff meetings as needed.
