Job summary
Harmar Village Health & Rehab Center in Pennsylvania seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing in managing the SNF Nursing Service Department. This full-time role emphasizes compliance, leadership, and resident-focused care.
You will work with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure top-quality care and adherence to regulations, while supporting staff development and a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where you work.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through electronic health record software.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing day-to-day nursing service operations.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and maintain quality of care for residents.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high care standards.
