As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist the Director of Nursing in planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing department. You will also be responsible for infection prevention management.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that licensure and credentials of nursing staff are current and verified.
• Assist with scheduling and guest rounds to monitor and evaluate nursing care quality.
• Maintain proper documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
• Develop and implement staffing plans reflecting guest needs.
• Participate in budgeting for nursing supplies, equipment, and staffing.
• Stay informed about managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations and reimbursement systems.
• Assign responsibilities considering guest safety and staff qualifications.

Qualifications for ADON:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
