Position Overview

The Assistant Director of Health Services supports the Director of Health Services by planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing the Nursing Service Department's daily functions. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain high-quality care, as directed by the Executive Director, Medical Director, or Director of Health Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to help select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
• Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of resident care.
• Implement clinical staffing models and perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, audits, evaluations, and charting.
• Participate in the company’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs conducted by regulatory agencies and/or the company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred
• Current, valid state RN license and CPR certification required
