About the Position

About Us

Neffsville Nursing and Rehab is a premier 240-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and help us deliver the highest standards of nursing care.

Position Overview

As the ADON, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing and directing the Nursing Service Department. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, organize, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department.
  2. Review nurses' notes to ensure proper documentation of residents’ treatments, medications, and conditions.
  3. Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care, engage with staff, and address any concerns.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and provide direct communication regarding residents' care.
  5. Assist the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising MDS assessments, RAPs, and triggers.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nurse leadership experience as an ADON or DON in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to quality care.
Compensation

Competitive Salary: $90,000 – $95,000 annually.
