Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Toledo, OH is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ADON will work with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance, and staff development.

Responsibilities include policy implementation, staff scheduling and budgeting support, supervising nursing staff, education programs, quality improvement, and fostering collaboration among clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that align with facility goals and objectives.
• Provide administrative support to the nursing department, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.

• Foster effective communication and teamwork among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage and resolve conflicts and concerns in a fair and timely manner.
